Lauren Forbes

Forbes is a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellow Physician with The Ohio State University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned a MD from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She also earned a MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health while serving as the Advocacy Fellow for the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Her research explores the impact of health policy on perinatal and reproductive health services, outcomes, and epidemiology. She loves translating those research findings into health policy through advocacy–and then re-starting the process!
