Sureshkumar is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology at The Ohio State University, College of Public Health. She completed her Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery in India and an MPH in Epidemiology from The Ohio State University in 2024. For her master’s thesis, she explored the relationship between intimate partner violence and male controlling behavior experienced by women living with HIV in Mozambique. Her research interest revolves around infectious diseases, specifically chronic infections, sexual and reproductive health, and domestic violence. Sureshkumar is a Research Assistant within OPEN and contributes to the Patterns in Abortion Use in Ohio project.
