Mikaela Smith and OPEN colleagues published an article in Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health about how state policy changes in Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia during the first few months of COVID-19 impacted abortion in those states. What the authors describe is an example of abortion exceptionalism.
