Sachika Singh she/her/hers and they/them/theirs PhD Student | University of Cincinnati
Singh (she/they) is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Cincinnati, where she also completed her BA & MA in Sociology and initially trained with OPEN. Their research interests lie in medical sociology, violence prevention, and community resilience. This is informed by their extensive community-engaged research and applied systems change work across the nonprofit, healthcare, and philanthropic sectors, with a focus on trauma-informed care and economic mobility. Sachika is a Research Assistant with OPEN and contributes to the Patients’ Experiences of Abortion project.
