Church is a PhD student and an affiliate of the Institute for Population Research at The Ohio State University. She earned her BA and MA in sociology from the University of Memphis. Her research interests center on reproduction, gender, and medicine, and her current work examines people’s decision-making regarding prenatal and birthing care providers and desires. Church is a research assistant for OPEN’s Understanding Reproductive Health Needs of Appalachian Communities project.
