Saira Nawaz, The Ohio State University

Nawaz works in the areas of program evaluation, healthcare claims, and policy analysis at the Center for Health Outcomes, Policy, and Evaluation Studies at The Ohio State University College of Public Health. Nawaz earned her MPH in Comparative Effectiveness Research at Columbia University and her PhD in health services research at Dartmouth College. She pursued an Evaluation Fellowship at the CDC and served as an Evaluation Specialist on CDC projects in areas of chronic disease, mental health services, global health, and health delivery systems science. She contributes to OPEN’s Ohio Profile of Contraceptive Access and Use project.
